The main cause of a noisy pump is in the bearings and seals. The seals may have leaked allowing water to get to the bearings. This water causes the bearings to loose their lubrication and become dry. It is this dryness that causes the noise. Bearings and seals are easily repaired by our technicians here at the shop.
NO SUCTION?
Often caused by air getting into your filtration system. Common points where this can happen are at the pump lid or the o-ring under the pump lid. Air can also enter through the pipes so there could be a hole in the piping between the skimmer box and the pump. No suction can also be attributed to air getting in through the seals in the pump or that there is not enough water in the pool. Another common cause is a blockage in your pipes or pump. These problems can be detected and fixed by our technicians on site.
